Members of our group…

it has come to my attention that there are potential members that would otherwise be interested in the group, but are turned away by the KYOG (Kitsap Yarn Over Girls) name. After careful consideration, and because the KYOG domain name is already paid for, I’ve decided to go ahead and keep our group’s current name. When it comes time to renew our url next year, I plan to change our name to the Kitsap Yarn Over Konnection to show that we’re open to men, women, and knitters of all types.

In the meantime, don’t let the name fool you! We’re open to knitters of all creeds, sexes, and skill levels! 😀

Keep getting knitty with it! 😉

Hello all!!!

It was wonderful to see all of you on Sunday, and some more of you guys on Monday! 🙂 Even as a shy gal, it helped me to come out of my shell to see so many women working on such interesting projects!
Yesterday evening, I had the fun of seeing some more of you guys at Tana’s house.

While there, I was charmed by two little cute doggies. Here’s one of ’em (Toby, right?). Anywho, we had a great time with cupcakes and cookies. Thanks for being such a gracious hostess, Tana!!!

Also, please be advised that there will be no KYOG (Kitsap Yarn Over Girls) meetings on Sunday, February 18th or Monday, February 19th. We’ll post as meet-ups start happening again.

Anywho, if you haven’t already, please join our new Kitsap Yarn Over Girls Email Listserv. You can choose whether or not you receive individual emails, and it helps to serve as a sounding board for you. Do you have suggestions or ideas? Well, this is the forum to post those concerns! This is a Google Group, which is similar to Yahoo, but with fewer instances of email delays. If you have any questions about this or need help getting signed up, please post a comment so we can help you!

Other than that, it was mentioned that a Seattle yarn shop crawl might be something interesting for the group to take part in. What do you think? The Google Group is a great place to discuss this so join up! 😉

As for the in-house meet ups, is anyone interested in possibly making it an in-home movie night too? I’ve got the Netflix! 😀
